Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet is located in the Agly valley, approximately 35 kilometers northwest of Perpignan. The town is surrounded by mountainous landscapes and vineyards.
Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet is part of a renowned wine-growing region. The surrounding vineyards produce quality wines, notably AOC Côtes du Roussillon wines. It is possible to visit wine estates and taste local wines.
Gorges de Galamus: Near Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet are the Gorges de Galamus, a spectacular natural site. The gorges offer an impressive landscape with steep cliffs and the Agly River flowing through them. Visitors can go hiking, climbing or simply enjoy the beauty of the place.​

Access: Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet is accessible by road, notably via the A9 motorway which crosses the region. The town is also served by local bus lines.
