The station and the village

Cases-de-Pène is located in the Roussillon plain, approximately 15 kilometers north of Perpignan, the main city of the region. The town is surrounded by vineyards and offers beautiful landscapes. Cases-de-Pène is located in the heart of a renowned wine-growing region. The surrounding vineyards produce quality wines, notably AOC Côtes du Roussillon wines. Viticulture is an important economic activity in the region. It has an interesting historical heritage. The village is notably home to the Saint-Étienne church, a church dating from the 11th century with Romanesque architectural elements. There are also traditional stone houses which bear witness to the history of the village. ​​ Access: Cases-de-Pène is accessible by road, notably by taking the A9 motorway which crosses the region. The town is also served by local bus lines. ​ The station platform has been adapted for people with mobility difficulties and people with disabilities.​
